-Investigation Report-

This three story building was built in 1904. It was originally Shattuck saloon, well known for its gambling and fancy dressed dealers as well as its six up stairs suites. The saloon was open for about 10 years and closed in 1914. Currently there are only two rooms occupied. Some of The claims of paranormal activity by the residents are the sounds of children running down the halls in the early morning hours & the sounds of balls bouncing. This is puzzling because there are no children in the building. This Inn, is also locked, the only way to gain entrance is by a key or to get buzzed in by a resident. Heavy boots walking in the halls and doors shutting are report ably heard at about 4 in the morning. Strange smells also seem to come and go with out any reason. The distinctive sound, of glass bottles slamming down on tile counters or glass table tops has been heard numerous times. One startling event occurred with a 4 year old named Christina, The granddaughter of one resident. Christina was visiting one day and she suddenly yelled “Ouch, why did you do that“. The grandmother who was about 7 feet from her said “what!” Christina said “you hit me”. Grandma replied “I didn't hit you”, at that moment a can of diet coke was knocked off the counter about 10 feet, spinning in the air and spilling coke every where. Christina then said "the naughty ghost did it mamma", "He wants papa to leave"! Another incident occurred with Christina when she was watching TV in the bedroom, she suddenly came running out & said “something was kicking the bed & it was a boy ghost who told me to get out”. The child to this day will not get on the bed. Last but not least the claims of a child crying has been heard coming from within room 204, which is unoccupied. We were invited to stay in one of the suites while we conducted our Investigation. There were a few personal experiences that occurred. One of which was a heavy smell in the kitchen area of room 204. The smell was not present while setting up our cameras our any other time during the day. We still cant describe the smell because none of us have ever smelt any thing like it, it was heavy & almost acidic. Upon returning to the room later it was gone. Mandy & mike began their Investigation by conducting an EMF sweep and closing all the open mini blinds in room 204. They then moved to the bedroom & began an EVP session. Mike was documenting the session with the full spectrum camcorder, Both investigators heard a loud click sound. Mike said did you hear that & Mandy acknowledged ya! Mike said it sounded and felt like some one flicked the camcorder. This occurrence was heard, on review of the video. Soon after that experience Mandy & mike hear the loud distinctive sound of glass hitting glass (like a bottle hitting a glass table). This sound came from the kitchen area and was one of the claims of reported activity. This sound was also caught on the camcorder. Both investigators immediately went to the kitchen. Mandy asks is there any one hear with us, at that moment the K2 (EMF gage) started to spike confirming the possibility of an entity present. Mandy then says I would like to ask you some questions, you can answer by making the lights on this device light up, once for no twice for yes. Mandy then asked these series of questions. Q- are you a man, A-no. Q- are you a woman, A-yes. Q-do you work here, A-no. Q-do you live here, A-yes. Q-are you happy here, A-“YES“. The K2 would not stop going off with that question. We presume the spirit is vary happy there. Later on that night Ryan & Jason went on to investigate room 204. After about Three minutes in the living room the new batteries Ryan put in the IR light went dead, this battery drainage could not be explained. A few moments later Mike & Mandy stopped by and mike noticed that the living room blinds were open, it was then that he told us they had previously closed all the blinds. Who opened them is still a mystery. Mike & Mandy went on to Investigate the lower rooms, while Ryan & Jason stayed in rm. 204. Jason went out to the back patio off the kitchen to take a brake & have a smoke. Ryan stayed in the living room changing the tape in the camcorder & replacing the drained batteries. The back door to the patio suddenly shut by it self. There was not a breeze of any kind or any open windows for airflow to have shut it. During this Investigation two EVP’s were also caught. Ryan & Jason were wrapping up an EVP session in the small storage room by the laundry area. Jason says “we are leaving, your more then welcome to follow us to the next room”. Upon reviewing the evidence we hear an unknown voice that was not heard at the time respond by saying “FOLLOW” & a second later “HELP”. The next EVP occurred in the laundry room (witch has a vary high EMF reading emitting from the machines and coming through the walls). Jason introduces his self & Ryan, then asks is there any body here with us. Upon reviewing the audio recorder we hear a muffled voice say “go home”. One strange object was captured with the IR camera. First let me explain about “dust” orbs, which a lot of amateur Investigators will assume are paranormal and in fact are not. Small particles of dust will float through the air. When captured by a camera the reflected light will look like a round ball floating or hovering. These dust particles do not have a self emitting light and are vary common. The object we captured was in room 204 just before Mandy & mike get the K2 activity in the kitchen. The object is not round at all but is elongated and almost looks like it has a glow around it. At first we thought it was a bug, but this is a little to big for a bug! So is this paranormal? We are not 100% sure but it is interesting. In our opinion Audrey’s Inn does seem to have some type of paranormal activity. We believe with more then one entity and I’m sure further Investigations would support this.
